Hi Everyone

We are going to Disney at the beginning of March with our 8 month old twin boys and our 6 year old son.

We purchased a Peg Perego Aria Twin stroller because we like how lightweight it is but really don't like the sun shades.

Can anyone suggest a way to keep the sun off the little guys but still let them enjoy the scenery while awake??

Thanks for any advice.

I have the same stoller. I was considering ordering the Kiddopotamus RayShade Double...does anyone have any advice on this? Also have you found a good raincover for the twin? I can only find singles.
Thanks,
JCW

Hi

I am also looking for a good rain shade.

I priced the Peg Perego and in Canada it was $65.00! I am not going to pay that so I have to keep looking.

The Jolly Jumper brand is much less expensive but I have to see if it works.

I wonder if anyone here can help us out with this one.

Also, I wonder if anyone uses those umbrella's that attach to the stroller to keep sun off. I would of course need 2 of them but was thinking they would be good because they are adjustable and you can move them around according to where the sun is coming from???

Thanks

I have the kiddopotamus double sun shade. It works great! I highly reccomend it. We have on for our double and our single. It was the best investment. I also have a rain cover that I got In Babies R Us for our double and it works like a charm. the kids think it is the funniest thing! At best it was maybe $15.

We use our Ray Shade all the time! It works great. We also bought a Kiddopotamus one with the mesh on the sides. We took that to WDW with us because of the Love bugs. It was wonderful!! It protected DD and kept all the bugs out. It also worked pretty well in the rain. I would suggest this one over the Ray Shade if you are going when the Love bugs are out. I bought both shades from Target.com but have seen them lots of places in singles and doubles. HTH :)

I have the same stroller and shade. We love it1 It covers both kids and keeps the sun off them. The only other advice I can give it not to roll it up other then the way it comes. We had our roled up for a few months and it did not stay on as well. That is not a fault with the shade just our mistake.

Thanks for all the great advice everyone!

Can you tell me what Love Bugs are? We only have to worry about mosquitos here and have not heard of love bugs. We are travelling in 3 weeks time.
Thanks

If you're going in 3 weeks you won't have to deal with Love bugs! YEA!!
They have mating season starting in August, I think. They are small black flying insects that eat the mosquitos. When they mate, it's while they fly and it's "end to end" so then it looks like 1 bug with 2 heads. They were EVERYWHERE when we were there last September! You shouldn't have to worry about it at all!
Have fun!!

Totally forgot about LOVE BUGS...I used to live in south Georgia!! Luckily we're going in 2 weeks so I won't have to worry about that. Thanks for all of the tips!
