How lucky we were to visit inbetween storms.....Never thinking there was still another to come.

WDW may have looked fairly unscathed, but we certainly couldn't miss the endless homes with tarps on the roofs, smashed pool enclosures, and boarded-up windows.

All I can say is, <i>hang in there guys!</i> Your DIS pals are praying for you, and sending all the pixie dust we can find.

Is not going to be any fun...lots of problems all ready, and it isn't even going to hit full force till 2-3 am.....south of us..have all ready lost power, and have power lines down, trees down, and the eye is just coming ashore...

If you want to see how Ed got ready for the storm...take a look at our traders lounge on the community board...go to a mean laureen thread, and click on the traders lounge...

We have been sticking together over there...

and if you guys REALLY cared about us....you would've given one good blow...and sent Jeanne packing..!!!!

This time the eye will be coming right over us, and if it stays on this track Disney too....stay tuned...

Thanks for your thoughts & keep them coming. Ok here in Metro West, but the wind is still blowing quite a bit & it's still raining. I still have the window leak from Frances, so my dryer has been going all afternoon when I change out the towels. Not sure which is worse, this or blizzards!

Worked at DTD again last night - two out of three storms, closing in my shop and sandbagging, etc. And I just moved here!
Hopefully, this is the last one!

Doing okay....

Little water in the bathroom, some trees aren't going to make it and one of the screen panels in the pool enclosure is gone, but all in all pretty good!...oh yeah..and the power just came back on!

I'm glad to see my FL friends checking in - that means you have power, cable (if you use it for Internet), phone, etc. I'm going to make some scrapbook pages from the hurricane photos I have received this month. Stay safe!

7am Monday
Our utility power is back on
I have taken off all my plywood and put it away. yes by 7 am.
Will clean up branches in yard
I consider myself lucky, life will be back to normal by noon.
I do send my thoughts and prayers to those who were not as lucky..

We lost power Sunday mornin' 'round 10 & got it back 2nite 'round 8...!!! YaY....air & hot water again...YaY!!!

Im hopin' that every1 else made it thru yet another hurricane safe & sound...!!!

How much more can we stand?!?
