Keeping Cool Aug 1-9

I want to make sure that I have all the devices known to man-kind before setting off for the Florida sun. We have the mister fans, the gel scarves and Brita bottles. I also plan on wearing sneakers for comfort, is there a powder that helps with cooling the feet?

I use Shower to Shower on my feet (I don't use it to keep my feet cool though) and then I put my socks on when I'm wearing sneakers and use a little more inside the sneaker to control the moisture.

We also will be at WDW the first week of Aug. We leave in 9 days. What we use to control the moisture on your feet is spray deoderant. I know it sounds funny but a few trips back I had read it on these boards and decided to try it. I always got blisters on my toes. After trying this I have not gotten one blister. simply spray your feet before you put your socks on and your set. It works for us.

The best way to protect your feet from blisters is moleskin. Just cut it into peices and put it where you might get a blister. make sure to wear thick socks and comfortable sneakers.

When it starts to pour I always change out of my neakers and put on flip flops, its easier to manuever in the rain and you dont have to worry about drying out wet sneakers.

Thanks to you all!! I already have the Shower to Shower, so that is no sweat(no pun intended). I do believe that I will pick up some spray deoderant. I do have some mole skin somewhere around here. Thanks again, you all are wonderful!!
