Keep VMK Dreams ALIVE<- Disney Admin Plz Read

I have been an active player/member since the beginning of last summer. Have drawn in the rest of my family as well. Unfortunately this quest was the last straw for me. I can't stand it anymore. This type of quest should have been going on for at least a few weeks. Time ending of Noon with no notice on site’s home page. This is the last of an increasing number of disheartening events I have experienced that were planned by the admin of this site. Our wonderful Hosts and staff have felt the brunt of our complaints. My heart goes out to them. They really earn their paychecks.

This is an open letter to Disney Administrators. I hope they are reading this. If you want to be profitable, listen to the people who you serve. Draw people in and keep them as long time members/customers thus creating a healthy customer base. What you are doing here is the opposite. You want to improve your product of VMK, please listen to me and others like me. If you are preparing to “upgrade” to an instant money maker that will pay for itself in the short term but will not be as long lived as VMK, please ignore this posting. Admin, you have an excellent model here that draws people in, gets them hooked and shows your products in a very gentle but persuasive way. Better than a 30 second ad on national television.

VMK is more than “Just a game”. There is a wonderful community built on this. I am so glad to have had the opportunity to get to know such great people. This community spends on a lot of Disney products. It would be a shame to see your customer base dwindle due to mismanagement and planning of your wonderful site.

Get back to what Walt Disney created: Dreams, Hope, Imagination. Teaching children and adults alike that dreams do really come true for all with patience and a lot of hard work. This idea is also what the United States was built on. Walt Disney created a magical world that was for the entire family in his first theme park. The only part of the site’s programming that is really focused on family and children are the rules and software that are used to keep them safe. The remainder is set up for adults: Times of events and the events themselves. The main messages I see VMK giving to us are: Dreams May come true for the select few. Learn Patience and you may or may not succeed. Your Dreams May or may Not come true with your hard work.

Administration, I have two questions. What is VMK for? What are your plans for this site?

Well, I started this posting a few days ago as you can see. Right after that wonderful quest we experienced. I still think the management of vmk needs to be replaced but I do think it is in their best interest to keep VMK going. It is a wonderful business model that brings in more players to the other "Pay Games" as well as merchandise purchases. How many of us have purchased disney items since you started this game? I bet a bunch. and how much have you spent on the items or your subscriptions to their games?

As their online "pay games" dwindle in popularity, I am sure disney will create new ones to take their places. VMK ties them all together. For people who are afraid to pay for a game without trying it out, are not so computer savy, it could be a huge learning curve which a lot of players are unwilling to do. They can learn these skills on VMK, test the waters in their online games and jump in.

Like I said before, too bad they are getting rid of such a great business model.

Disney, get rid of the management at VMK but keep VMK in place, along with those wonderful Hosts of yours. Bring back the Magic that Walt Disney created in the first place.
