Typical no HOST present in the room. Hula is known to have a lot of computer issues, why doesn't she just get a new PC? A pizza delivery guy needs his car and thats his livelihood. Her income is her PC, invest a few bucks and get a new one. She's always crashing or freezing, or some other drama. Last night in the 3 spins game, she crashed twice while I was in the room. Took her forever to log back on and that explains why most of you noticed a major log jam when the line wasnt moving. It was because she crashed 2x.
And why is CL_GBShorts always helping her? Most of the time these games require no help.
I remember discussing options with Hula about her computer a couple of
months ago. From what it seemed, her computer was relatively new, but
it was acting wonky on her. Some people in the room were trying to
offer tech support help, but I suggested if all else fails, she should get
the
Best Buy Geek Squad to help.
And the reason Shorts helps in the room? To get players from lingering
too long in the room and keeping others from having their chance at the
prize. With most games, there's a start and stop point. In teleporter games,
people tend to want to be social butterflies with the Hosts.
Most Hosts are social, and they don't want to push players through. So
if Shorts wants to play "bad cop" to Hula's "good cop" to get players to
continue through the game, I'm all for that.
Of course, I'm not trying to say you shouldn't greet the host, but I think
it's really rude to stay longer than a minute or so during these teleporter
games. The more people who go through, these players can return again
if they pick the wrong teleporter.
