We are going in January/Feb 2018. I have all 6 ADRs made but I'm feeling iffy about a few of them. This is our schedule and what park we'll be at:

Sunday, Jan 28- Disney Springs (because it's arrival day and we aren't going to a park) Raglan Road
Monday, Jan 29- Ohana dinner (Magic Kingdom day)
Tuesday, Jan 30- Dinner at 1900 Park Fare (Animal Kingdom)
Wednesday, Jan 31- 50s Prime Time (Hollywood Studios)
Thursday, Feb 1- Rose and Crown Dining Room (Epcot)
Friday, Feb 2- T-Rex (not sure where we'll be yet)
Saturday, Feb 3- nowhere, could go somewhere, we don't know what park we'll visit and our flight leaves at 6:45pm so we'll have to leave the parks by 2:30-3pm

We've been everywhere but Rose and Crown before and I think we want to keep that one. We also know we want to keep 'Ohana, it's DH's favorite.

I'm flexible on Raglan Road and we don't have to have an ADR at all that night since we'll be at Disney Springs.

1900 Park Fare was a fun interaction but my 11 year old doesn't care much about princesses anymore and my 4 year old son won't care either, more than likely, so I'm open to change.

50s Prime Time is somewhat a favorite. We've been to Sci Fi as well. I just don't know that anywhere in HS is any better, but we could go somewhere at a resort?

My daughter and I have been to T-Rex in Kansas City, but my son and DH have never been. We think they'll like it.

So any suggestions for change? I'd like to try a couple more new places but I have no idea where to go!

I would do Tiffins or Yak and Yeti on your AK day.

I, personally, wouldn't go all the way to 1900 for dinner on your AK day, especially if, as it sounds, no one is really interested in it. I would consider simply eating at Yak and Yeti, which is very good, or, if you want to leave the park, head over to AKL and eat at Boma or Sanaa.

I'm not a big fan of the TS in DHS. You might want to consider heading over to the Boardwalk area and eating either at Trattoria al Forno, Cape May buffet or Capt. Grille (when it re-opens in its new incarnation)

I agree with PP's - if you kids aren't sold on 1900 Park Fare, then I would do something at AK ( Yak and Yeti is my personal favorite ) or DS or your resort ( depending on where you are staying ).

We're fans of Raglan Road and typically do that our 1st night too. Depending on what time you plan to arrive the wait without an ADR can be short ( we typically eat around 5-530p and see people get seated without and ADR within 10 minutes.

Homecomin'?

I've heard a bit about this, but it's new since the last time we went. Is it kid friendly? We have a 4 year old who has lots of feelings, that's the best way to put it, and after a travel day I don't know if he'll have it in him to sit still at a quieter place.

I would do Tiffins or Yak and Yeti on your AK day.

Is Tiffin's signature on the dining plan?

We have never been the AKL or the Boardwalk area. What is your favorite of the ones you've listed?

On your AK day I would eat either in the park or do Boma at AKL.

We are staying at Coronado Springs. We've eaten at Raglan Road once, but it's been over 6 years and I just don't remember enough about it. We also didn't have DS then :-P

Is Beaches and Cream counter service or table service?

Beaches and Cream is table service but they do have a walk up window if you just want to get ice cream.

Tiffins is a signature that accepts the dining plan.

I agree with PPs about your AK day. Boma would be a great option if you want a TS but there are some pretty good QS options at AK these days at the various carts/kiosks and in the Market Place area as well. We like Raglan Road but think Homecomin' and The Boathouse are bot better. We want to try Morimoto our next trip to Disney Springs.

Personally, I wouldn't make an additional trip to Disney Springs just to eat at T-Rex, especially since you don't know where you will be that day. I wold just wing it and find someplace to eat wherever you are that day. We aren't big fans of wasting travel time for food.

I would also stick with something Animal Kingdom-y for that AK day.....Tusker House is a fav of mine, but almost anything AK or AKL will be better than trekking all the way to the GF for a dinner you aren't over the moon for (though I would LOVE to meet the Tremaine family again haha)....and you're not interested in seeing AK at night? You could do a relaxing time at AKL for a little bit of a break and do Boma, and then back to AK for nighttime?

I would echo waiting to see where you might be on the 2nd, if you end up in MK, do you want to go all the way to the Springs to eat dinner? Or if you are in Epcot with ALL those food options, taking a trek to get to DS doesn't sound awesome.....if you REALLY want to do TRex, maybe do it on your arrival day? (if your travel is early morning so you won't chance missing an ADR)

I would suggest looking for Tusker House over 1900. It's in the park you'll be at, and has characters that should appeal to your son more.

We are doing Disney Springs our first day too. We normally eat at T-Rex and my youngest, though he was there when he was 2, has never really seen it. Originally, I made a reservation there. But, the food, while decent, isn't terribly exciting. I started reading up and wanted to try Raglan Road instead. So, I changed our T-Rex to be a mid afternoon reservation where we'll just have a dessert, and then a later evening Raglan Road for dinner. You could consider hitting T-Rex your first day for a snack or dessert and still go to Raglan road.
