Just got message on my FB Fort group that someone lost their Dachshund the other night during a storm and told them I would put on here for them. It is very sad and I know I have seen good results from finding other dogs lost in FW on here.

Oh, I sure hope they find their dog. I'm sure he will turn up somewhere. The question is, will someone just take him home (and if so, hopefully give him a great home) or will they try to find some way to contact the owners.

Please delete if this isn't allowed. I saw this post on Facebook and just sharing it here. Family lost their dog in Ft Wilderness. If anyone is there and has seen the dog, please contact them not me, I am only sharing. There are 2 different names and contacts

Thank you for sharing the contact info. I wasn't sure I was allowed to. I don't think they have found him yet unless someone else has any more updates.

Poor baby! He looks like he is not wearing any tags for identification. I pray someone has him and is being kind to him. I can't imagine what these people felt going home from their vacation without a family member.

I can't believe if he were still somewhere in the campground a CM wouldn't have seen him by now. This is so sad. I would be devastated.

Just breaks my heart. I can't imagine if we were to lose our Crash like that. I don't know how I could ever go home.

I hope Phineas is 'chipped'.

Still missing. His family is going to FW next week again for a week. Praying they at least get a lead or something on their pup. Please continue to keep eyes open for him
