I just bought a Keurig last week, and I found a really great deal on Kcups at Bed Bath & Beyond today - 75% off. But they have short expiration dates, like mid August. Does anyone have any experience with 'old' kcups? Do they start to taste stale quickly? At about .16 per cup, I'll stock up if they'll be decent for a bit past date.

I've used expired K-Cups before and I didn't notice a difference. If we were talking a liquid product I wouldn't risk it but since it's a dry good I would take advantage of that price!

Great find! :thumbsup2

Unless they are latte (aka have powdered milk) I wouldn't use old/out of date one. But if they are just coffee, then unless you are a big coffee snob, I am sure you won't notice.

Please don't take this as an insult, but if you are drinking K-cup coffee, you won't notice a difference if they're expired. The quality of the coffee is not great to begin with. Then again, I'm probably the only one who really can tell when a coffee is old,lol

Thanks guys! I'm not at all a coffee connoisseur - I just wanted something that tasted better than the crap in the office breakroom. I guess even stale coffee would be an improvement lol.
I went back and stocked up, and was even able to use some coupons!

I don't think its an expiration date, its a best by date so its not like they go bad. The quality will be less the longer it is past that date so I wouldn't stock up on any flavored ones, but for regular coffee I would.
