Kaylee & Alans Trip Report Day 12 MGM, Fantasia mini-golf and Fantasmic
Day 12

Kaylee aged 26, first time visitor to WDW
Alan aged 28, second visit to WDW, first when he was 8
We were up bright and early this morning for EE at MGM. But unfortunately so was everyone else it seemed. We rode Tower of Terror and Rock n Roller coaster without any queue. I also brought a few goodies in the Tower of Terror shop. Next we tried to get on The Great Movie Ride again, but there was already a 35 minute wait it looked like we wouldnt see this on this trip.
We headed over to Hollywood & Vine for our PS. Our PS was for 9.50am and we arrived at 9.45am and we were not seated until 10.25am. Up until now our PSs have always been very good and we have always been seated before our PS time. Because the restaurant were taking so many walk-ins they were making all of the PSs late. The characters here were Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale, they were all dressed up Hollywood style. Breakfast here was good too. Minnie stayed at the entrance and everyone else toured the restaurant.
After breakfast we went to Als Toy Barn and queued up for Jessie, Buzz and Woodys autographs and pictures. Buzz and Woodys autographs were only stamps. We also wanted to see the Indiana Jones Show we arrived 20 minuets early and it was standing room only so we got a fast pass for later.
We left MGM and got the boat to the Swan and walked out to Fantasia Gardens. We enjoyed this it wasnt too busy and it was nice to have some down time. But be aware like everything in Florida You will get wet. (in case you are interested Alan won) The Swan and the Dolphin looked like nice hotels but had far to many people in suits in them, we got the boat back to MGM around 4pm.
We did a little more shopping and I finally got my Princess PJs. We went to see The Muppets show I wasnt too impressed with the 3D effects here. We used our Fast passes for Indiana Jones, Alan enjoyed this and I found it a bit boring. Dinner this evening was from a takeaway stand. I had Jacket Potato and Alan had one of those huge turkey legss. At 6.30pm we started queuing for Fantasmic to ensure we had a good seat. This was so boring just waiting as it was the second show it took ages to empty the theatre from the first show. When we got in they tried to seat us to the left of centre but we snuck in to the Mickey Sorcerer section. This show is so good we were 6th row up and because of the direction of the wind we did get sprayed with water a little. Good job I had brought my Simba towel to keep the camera dry. When it had finished I got two Fantasmic pins, T-shirt and postcard.
We got the bus back to CBR and our Wedding album had arrived, yippee. Alan went to get drinkies at the food court and we settled down for the night.
