Katrina getaway

Forgive me, but I am so out of the loop. We have just returned to our home after evacuating for Hurricane Katrina. My husband has a convention that was plannned long ago in Orlando for October 18-21 at some hotel near the airport. He is a Disney fanatic as we all are and I would love to surprise him with a night or two in a Disney hotel -the problem is I cannot find any codes before October 23rd. Are there any? I know this is a long shot, but we cannot afford rack rate right now-too many repairs and now I have no job. His company will allows him to stay where ever he wishes as long as it is the same price as the convention hotel.

Even though my son and I would love to go, we realize we cannot afford it and would love for him to have the opportunity. A little Disney magic is needed right now! Please any discount code of any kind, would be appreciated!!

Hey Minnie-
Unfortunately, I think your dates fall in the no code "black hole" time frame. Have you checked the prices at the All Stars or Pop? Usually they're pretty reasonable, even without a code. The only other thing I might suggest, and this is a shot in the dark, is calling and asking if they are offering anything "special" for hurricane victims. I haven't heard anything from Disney, but lots of companies seems to be really accomodating these days.
Where in N.O. are you? We live in Mandeville. Our house did fine (a fence down, lost a few small trees). I'm so ready for things to get back to normal around here.
Wishing you the best...I know you're going through some tough times right now. Sounds like a little Disney magic would be just what you all need!
