I know all kids are different, but you have said a few times that Forbidden Journey is really intense and I was wondering what you thought would be reasonable age wise for kids? Is it too much for a 10 year old? Did you see alot of younger kids riding or mostly older, young teens? I'm wondering more about the ride elements like the spiders and the Dementors, rather than the motion of the vehicle, ect...

Something weird is going on with the DIS. This is the third post I have replied to and my reply isn't there.

I think if a child is familiar with the HP movies and can handle that they wouldn't have a problems with Forbidden Journey. If they don't like scary things I wouldn't recommend it.

If they don't like being thrown around I don't know if I would let them ride. As I said on the show I thought the ride was intense.

Since the height is 48 inches I would think the kids would be a little older?

Thanks Kathy. My niece is 11. She is tall enough to ride, she has read the first two books and seen the first two movies. She loves the first movie especially. I'm thinking spitting spiders and breathing on you Dementors is going to be a bit too much for her.

Gosh, it sounds too intense for me. Although I'm sure my 8 year old will love it.

So how many sick guests do you think it will take for Universal to open up a 'Green' version?

I don't know if they could do two versions. I am sure they have their hands full right now keeping the ride up and operating.

You said something about getting thrown around. I do not like dinosaur, because it is so jerky. Is this ride like that. Thanks. Connie

If you don't like the motion on Dinosaur I don't think you would like Forbidden Journey.

Thanks Kathy. It is not the motion, but the jerking that gets to me. I can do mission space , both sides and not have a problem, I just don't like to be jerked around.
