Kathy,

I remember exactly what you were talking about on the "not-Disney" podcast. There was a show with Angela Lansbury- I believe it was called Murder, She Wrote. I think it was by the Shrek 3D building. There was also an Alfred Hitchcock show that used people from the audience. I think it had the Bates Motel set on the stage, among other things. These shows may have been one and the same, but I definitely remember exactly what you are talking about :)

I remember both of those. In MSW, you were the director or something.

I've only been to Universal once when I was 8 years old. I remember the Murder, She Wrote show as well as a game show and another show where they picked people from the audience and they were put into sitcoms like I Love Lucy and Gilligan's Island. Are any of those things still there? I also remember a Jetsons ride, E.T. and Back to the Future. I know I was disappointed because the King Kong ride and Jaws were both closed when we went. I haven't been back since because we're such huge Disney fans but I would like to get there again when my kids are a little older. I'd definitely love to try out Discovery Cove as well...

That was Superstar Television at MGM. I got picked to be the movie star and on Dave letterman (two different trips).

LOL! I always get those confused. I wish they had kept something like that in HS. I remember really liking it and it seems like they could easily change the TV shows to fit ones that are popular today.

I also remember Hitchcock, Murder She Wrote, the Jetsons and SuperStar Television. It's funny, I hadn't really had memories of MSW until Kathy mentioned it on the podcast and it did trigger that to come back in my mind!

I loved Superstar Television! I was almost always in Gilligan's Island!!

My sister rode the little wooden horse for "Bonanza" (I think) and tipped her cowgirl hat to the camera at SST!
