Karen's 4th Annual DIS Jellyrolls meet--December 8, 2006

To add to what goofy4tink has already said, many of those who want to attend this meet are DVC (Disney Vacation Club) owners. Early December is one of the busiest times of the year for DVC so members need to book their accommodations 11 months in advance to be sure of getting the dates they want. And once you book your DVC villa, it's almost impossible to change the dates because DVC is always fully booked for early December. Karen (a DVC member herself) did us all a huge favor by announcing this meet in time for us to book our rooms right at the 11-month window.

Everyone had so much fun at the meet last year that everyone begged me to start it again this year. It also coincides with MouseFest weekend, so loads of people head down for that.

Plus we just like to talk about it

Right now there are 15 people on our 12/9/06 DCL cruise who are going to the JR meet as our first DIS meet for the week. We are even setting up babysitting (childcare if any of the kids are listening) with teens within the cruise group.

Sure looks like a lot of new faces to meet when you have this meet Karen! I do plan to take a nap that day so I can stay and party for a while with the rest of you!

2) clothes washer soils sheets--chi-ching!
3) child announces he needs to go on Spanish class tripS--chi-ching!
yes, this year there's 2 trips! Pick one baby, just ONE!

Of course there may only be enought spare cash for Mama to travel

Oooohhhh, I like it when just Mama travels!!! I'm planning on making the most of this years JR's meet...just found out that I'm going to be a mother-in-law, and that happens in early Jan '08...so don't think a Dec trip to WDW in '07 will be in order...unless perhaps I win the lottery. But, perhaps a few days in WDW before the wedding in Tampa!!

The funny thing about being a m-i-l for the first time is that I thought there was no chance at all of being a 'grandma'....Angie has some health issues, as well as two grown kids (18, 21), so I figured I would be out of luck. But, when my 30 y/o dd asked her brother if Angie was pregnant, Angie's response was..."Not yet." Hope springs eternal!!!

Wait a bit....there will be plenty of DISers in there with ya!!! I keep asking her royal highness when we are heading to PI.....hello...there are buckets o' booze there!!!
