I received my planning kit yesterday and received a call from Karen, she is our EM. Has anyone had her. She sounds very nice, as does her assistant Tanis. Fill me in if you have any info!!!!!

yes, we have Karen & she is wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our wedding is Aug 25 and we talk about once a week! Anything you tell her or ask her she writes it down & remembers!! I spoke to her 1 time back in october & then when I spoke to her in January she even remembered that I worked 6 days a week all through the holidays! She is so considerate like that!! I alwas ask her, for her personal opinion & she hasen't steared me wrong yet!!

She will be wonderful for you also & Tanis is great too!! She always gets back to you right away!!

We are so happy with the both of them

weren't you the person thinking of the living seas? That is where we are having ours!

No, we are getting married at the pavilion, and the reception is at the boardwalk resort... approx. 100 guests, you???

yes we went to a planning sesion with Karen & also met with Rosie (at that time she was the florist but now it is Laura Kidd)& also met with Andrew, the event planner! They were all great! The best advice I could give you is, have a really good idea of what you want to taste at your food tasting & let her know (they will give you everything you want) oh & go hungry!!!!!! Also, write down every little question you have even if you think is isn't importaint at that time because you go over everything !!! I took pictures with me of flowers that I liked, a color swatch of my brides maids dresses, a picture of my dress, & had an idea of what cake I wanted! The day goes so fast & befor you know it you are stuffed from lunch & even more excited about your big day then you ever thought you would be! Oh & my parents also came with us for the whole day (scince they are helping with some of the funding & I didn't want to leave my mother out of the planning she has been waiting my whole life for) It was nice to have a 2nd opinion on some of the decisions!

I worked with Karen Heyn for about a month after my 8-month mark. My EM Michelle Dorr was still on maternity leave - and Karen did an amazing job in the month we worked with her. She managed to organize everything for our Planning Session. She was detail oriented and very responsive. Michelle came back to work just in time for our PS - and Karen gave birth to her own son shortly after. I did meet her on our wedding day and she is indeed lovely.
