For anyone who cares:

Allegedly some of the Kardashain clan were dining at Tony's Town Square (?!? of all places) last night, but our server at the Plaza said to watch he backstage entrance because they may pop out with their entourage from behind there. Didn't see them, but did see one of them (Kourtney?) shopping at Rainforest Cafe gift shop this afternoon. My daughter was behind her in line and instantly recognized her (questionable parenting on my part I guess) as her hulking bodyguard exclaimed "No phones!" I thought it was weird, because I had absolutely no idea who she was.

Just thought I would pass that on...

Yea I saw Kourtney, Scott, Mason, and North were at WDW the last few days. I'd think it would be pretty cool to see them. Doubt Kanye is there since he's on tour but I'd love to see him the most out of all that group

Yes, I have heard from a cast member that they have been popping up, and someone posted a picture of Kourtney with Mickey earlier today.

If they are in a public venue, then the bodyguard has no say. This just shows their entitlement/superiority complex. I would have taken out my phone immediately, and taken a video of the bodyguard.

Toward guests for sure. Strange for people who crave attention to not allow pics.

In public, they have no power to 'allow' photos or not.

I'm no paparazzi. I really am not one to take a lot of photos. And I try to be a considerate cell phone user.

But if I'm in a public place like a store or a restaurant that allows cell usage, and I want or need to use my phone, I'm going to.

Was the "No phones" comment directed at the employees or guests?

I would not be happy if he said that to me and I'd let him know it.

Yeah and a comment like that would have me pulling my phone out in spite. Sorry but unless it is a owner on private land telling me no phone, I'm not listening. I don't need a pseudo celeb bodyguard giving me permission for anything

Thank goodness I'm not there. But if one if divas said no phone I would take a photo and call my attorney for my 20 minutes of fame and some cash. They can't control the public in a public place. Their "security" is not actual law enforcement

But honestly why does anyone care where the trashy family goes?

Were their camera crews there? Just wondering if they were filming for their show. It seems they love to take trips on that show!

Maybe more like where I'd like them to go ............. away, yeah that's what I meant, away.

Now if there was a crew there, I would be all about telling them they can not film me or my group and ask others around me if they are okay being filmed. I would also complain to Disney management that they are filming for commercial purposes, not allowed, and I find it intrusive and offensive because I don't want to be in some low class reality show.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Then they should just stay home or pay the big bucks to rent the park out.

KIM K tried doing that at DISNEYLAND this past JUNE for their 2yo daughter's birthday.

DISNEYLAND SAID NO.

So they came with all their entourage BUT quite frankly the whole K Clan was very cordial to all their fans.

AND being in SoCAL, we see celebrities all.of.the.time at DL/DCA and we are at the Parks for the same reason they are ..... TO HAVE A BLAST, not stare at celebrities..

No film crew, just them. I agree with the general sentiment as well. I would have had my wife filming with HER phone while I took pics of her with MY phone, then had my daughter's phone on speed dial to TMZ and also 911 to have my phone removed from wherever her bodyguard decided to shove it.

Spent many years in NYC, shopping, eating and standing in elevators with "stars" - we left them alone and they acted like real people, had no entourages, just people .......... no excuses for their body guards to harass others when they make their living off reality tv.

And the thing is. ..I'm generally very respectful of the private lives of those in the spotlight too. I've randomly run into celebs in dining and other situations before and didn't bother them or their meal. But put on an air of superiority or think they dictate my actions? Then the respect drops and they're gonna get some attitude in return :)

At least they dress accordingly when they go to WDW. I still chuckle when I remember Mariah Carey walking right past us in LEATHER pants and stiletto heels with the biggest bodyguards I've ever seen holding three bags (i swear one of the bags had her dogs in it) :rotfl:
