They're still going to teach evolution so I don't see the big deal. We learned about religion a lot in schools. Frankly, I don't think most kids care either way. Evolution was such a boring topic in science. I'd rather learn about something useful.

Most school in a joke until you get to college. I read that you forget 80% of what you learn anyways.

I don't think our standards are envied.

I really don't care what people know as long as they know how to do their job and do it efficiently. I don't know crap about science and have no desire to learn about it either so I wont choose to do anything related to science.

Trust me, my school WAS a joke. My sister's small school in the middle of the country offeres a better selection of classes than the $50 million public high school I went to in Chicago.

I'm not knocking the science geeks, I just HATED science. I *did* win the Math Olympiads in my school when I was a kid. And I also won the spelling bee. Then I got to high school and it wasn't fun anymore.

Now I am in college and learning stuff I actually ENJOY and can use in life which just seems much more practical to me.
