Kandle light for Kindle (or other e-reader) deep discount

I got the 2/ $25 also.... Still thought it was a good deal. We have Amazon Prime. I wanted to get my SIL the cover for her Kindle, got it from Amazon Warehouse about half-price PLUS the Kandle light! Very excited! Also makes her gift slightly less boring, lol.... even tho she wanted the cover, it's a kind of boring gift.

Now debating who gets the second Kandle... me or dh.... I vote for me. My Kindle is white. His is black so it doesn't match.

Slightly OT - I got the deal but now have a question. I bought this for my dad but my mom says he doesn't need it, that he can see his Kindle fine in the dark. Are there some Kindles that are lit up so they don't need this?

I originally put two in my cart, and it didn't do the 60% off thing. I canceled that order, put one in, then amended the number to two; when I updated it, I got the 60% off one. The the code made it 2/$10. I ordered twice, because we have several Kindles in our family. I just tried doing that again, and it didn't work.

Edit to add that I don't know of any Kindle that is backlit. None of us can see ours in the dark.

Thanks for the quick reply - I thought maybe I was going crazy. I didn't think he had a light for his. My order had already shipped when she told me that so I figured I would just find someone else to give it to. Guess he'll be getting one anyway... Thanks again!

I'm beginning to think Amazon wants to get rid of these. Last week they had a 2 for $22.50 deal and this week they have this 2 for $10.

I ordered with both deals, so now I have 4 of them and it only cost me $32.50. Everyone in my family who has a Kindle is getting a Kandle to go with it.

No doubt... likely they are releasing a new version soon.
