Lower floors puts you closer to the animals. Stay away from the Pembe Savanna.

Many believe lower floor gives you a more direct sight line to the animals. I take any floor because I also like the more panoramic high floor view.
The main question is: do you like walking from the base of the World Of Nations at Epcot to Germany? Now answer that same question when you have just got back to Kidani via bus from a long day at a park and have young ones in tow. Because that is the approximate walking distance from the lobby to the end rooms on the north wing at Kidani. It is the longest walk down an internal hallway from lobby to room that exists in any hotel on earth. If you want to avoid that, you either have a car that you take to the parks because you can park the car in the parking lot beneath the building and be close to your room because there are multiple elevators along the wings, or you better make a request for room location such as "close to lobby," "near community hall," or "across from pool area" and make one of those your No. 1 request before lower floor or any others. You may also request sunset savanna view as a secondary request if you want to see giraffes.

Ok sounds good so which is better? Pool lobby or hall? No little ones with us or car for that matter. I stayed at jambo and remember how far a walk it was to our room. Is this the same? Also as far as giraffes - yes we want to see them. You can only view them at the sunset savanna? Are there a limited number of rooms here. How many savannas are there. Sorry so many questions.

Is it really longer than the walk at Boardwalk Villas? Our last trip was spent in a 2BR almost to the end near JellyRollls, and that seemed like miles from the elevator.
