Haven't stayed in a Savanna view during the Christmas holidays, but have stayed at Kidani Village during that time. If you are looking specifically for what not to miss at Kidani then I would just say check out the tree and the ornaments. Walk/Shuttle over to Jambo and do the same. If you are asking about what not to miss during the holidays then I would suggest:
MVMCP (MK)
Candlelight Processional (EPCOT)
Holidays around the world (EPCOT)
The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights (HS)
Resort Trees/Gingerbread Houses (Various)
If you are asking about decorations, the regular deluxe resorts spend more money on decorations. Dedicated DVC resorts like Kidani, SSR and OKW don't seem to have the same level.
I was asking more about the Holiday decorations (sorry my bad).
But I'll take a couple of days to see all of the decorations at all the DVC Villas.
Hoping I'll also see the Osborn Lights, haven't seen this in 16 years. Can't wait to be there.
Thanks again.

We were there last Dec, visiting on our check out day. I was surprised that there was a large, beautiful Christmas tree in the lobby. They even had a photographer sitting there. They also had some craft activities for little kids. DS made a Christmas ornament. They were animals on an index card. He got to color and glue colored plaster/pebbles on them. Jambo was much more decorated.
Overall, it's nice, but not as Christmas-y for us as BWV, BCV, and VGF. I think it's the dark wood decor and the lack of red
The lobby has a large tree and decorations. Better, however, is the Jambo lobby tree and decorations. Jambo also has a band in the lobby NYE (I have been there twice Christmas time in non-successive years and the band was the same and extremely good and crowd friendly). There are decorations outside but they are not overwhelming. If you are there Dec 23 or before, you have daily visits from Santa Goofy and Santa Stitch.
As to parks, they will be extremely crowded but plan to spend time just looking at decorations. Osbourne lights at studios is one of the best light shows that exist. MVMCP (Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party) is actually pre-Christmas time and ends Dec 19; Holidays Around the World is the name g iven to essentially everything going on the World Showcase including the Candlelight Processional. Definitely see the processional and defintiely vistit the nations whicn are all well decked out. The park stage shows and even Country Bear become Christmas shows. If you are there NYE, you have some decisons to make. Both MK and Epcot get their largest crowds of the year (think shoulder to shoulder people covering the entire sidewalk in the World Showcase at Epcot in the evening; crowd gets so large that you get times when you cannot even move from one place to another; similar issues at MK.

All the Florida Disney resorts do a way better job of holiday decorating than the disney hotels/ downtown disney at Disneyland, I was surprised to find out. So many huge - enormous! - xmas trees and other deco in WDW! I would make it a point to visit all the resorts and see how they take their themes and apply them to their xmas deco, ornaments, etc. Most of the major resorts have big gingerbread displays too, incl. a full sized house at GF that sells gingerbread. The Boardwalk has a carousel. I saw a special that said a team of only 28 people decorates the parks overnight - they have it so well thought out it is very impressive as well as magical. At the Studios theme park they put up a ton of lights and make it "snow" at night. Xmas at Disney is not to be missed; you'll love it!

I was wondering if you could tell me when Santa Stitch starts making his appearance for the holidays? We will be at WDW from Nov 30th until Dec 10th and I am hoping we will be able to see Stitch in his Santa costume

Unfortunately, your dates are too early. Though subject to change, the Santa Goofy and Stitch are usually there Dec 19-23 and appear in late afternoon to evening (approximately 5-8) and they are not together (one is there for a while then leaves, then the other shows up, then they switch again, etc)
if you are going to epcot holidays around the world, and have younger kids, one thing I discovered the last couple years were the storytellers.
You can find them at the different countries in the world showcase. Each tells a story relating to that nations Christmas traditions, characters, etc. It is fun to watch the little ones gather round the floor and listen to a story about differing Christmas cultures.
