JW Marriott

Just got a great rate at JW Marriott.
159 a nite on Marriott website.
Any tips on what to do?
We will only be there two days before we go to BLT .
I hear it has a good pool anything else?
It is me DW DS 12 DD 9.

The pool is amazing! They also have great spa treatments at the Ritz (next door). We also went to Disney alot from there. What a great rate. Enjoy!

Several years ago my DH had a conference at the JW and the kids and I went along too. What a great hotel!! We loved our week long stay. The pool was very cool!! It is a lazy river type pool. It also has a section that is zero entry. They have a Starbucks right in the hotel too, which was a perk for me! I drove the kids and I to the parks everyday too. Enjoy your stay!

We're trying to decide where we would prefer to redeem some Marriott points. (We almost always stay at WDW deluxe resorts.) It's been years since we've stayed at the Marriott World Center...but my recollection is that it feels like a convention hotel rather than a family hotel. I've read great reviews of from families however.

We are really tempted to stay at the JW Marriott, however I have a few hesitations: distance from WDW, lazy river vs. pools at World Center, family activities, food. We are a family of three with one 8 yr old daughter.

Can anyone offer any comments on:

- Is the temp of the water in the lazy river warm or cool (traveling post DCL Dream cruise in February).

- I read that we could use the water slide at adjacent Marriott Vacation Club. Has anyone tried this?

- Any feedback on activities for 8 - 10 year olds?
