Still trying to decide on our hotel in LA. Would prefer a Marriott brand, if possible. Looking for something relatively central to all the typical tourist attractions. We will have a rental SUV so driving isnt an issue but would prefer not to sit in a lot of traffic going from attraction to attraction.

Our agenda isn't set in stone as of yet but some of the things our family is interested in doing are Walk of Fame, Hollywood, Warner Bros Tour, Star Home Tours, Kodak Theatre, Rodeo Drive and possibly a Dodger game.

Would the JW be close enough to most of the attractions and areas?
If not, any recommendations?

Thanks!

The intersection of the two freeways right there will have terrible traffic. If you don't want to site in traffic, don't stay downtown and plan any day trips.

There is no way you're going to avoid traffic. I can almost guarantee you're going to find some bad traffic, even on weekends or mid-day. That's just the nature of Los Angeles.
