I've been waiting for AAA rates to come out for our April trip in 2005 and then thinking of buying an Ap so I can get those rates if available.

(staying at POR and Contemporary Tower)

I called to book the CR part of our trip a few weeks ago since I heard the tower books fast. I booked through CRO but in reading some of the posts here people talk about using Dreams Unlimited and Small World who will book for you a t no charge.

So my question is... Why do you guys do wait and call for AP rates every morning yourself instead of just letting these services do it for you? I want to know because I was thinking of using one of these services because I'M new at this code thing and it seems it would be so much easier.

are there any down sides to using the service? Is it just more fun to have the satisfaction of getting your own discout?

Thanks

I am using Dreams Unlimited for the second time for our November trip. Even though I have more than 20 years of experience as an event planner PLUS a travel agent certificate, Dreams makes life sooooo much easier.

We (DH and me, plus DBIL) are booked at CBR at AAA rate, and our agent knows that we have APs and she will get us that AP rate when it comes out. I have no doubt!

We got APs because we will get 3 trips out of them, and the deeply discounted room rates are the bonus. Not to mention the other AP perks.

Travel Agents should not charge a fee. They collect a commission from the service provider. I other words, whether you book directly with WDW or use an agent, you pay the same.
