Just wondering?????

Just back from a great week but one thing is still bothering me.....
Why is it that I can get A hot dog, fries, drink, and dessert at Casey's for
my 6 year old that counts as as CS meal but at our hotel POFQ they say
no way thats an adult meal????? Isn't a hot dog a hot dog anywhere you go??

Because Casey's doesn't have a separate children's menu. On the dining plan, children must order from the children's menu if there is one. There was probably no hot dog on the children's menu at POFQ. (WDW claims it is trying to be "healthier" and removing such things from children's menus)
