Hi all - just returned from WDW last Friday. While there DW and I found it interesting that the American Pavillion at Epcot has no sit down eatery, just CS. With all the great dining available in this nation, it is a little strange that all we have to offer the world is burgers, dogs and chicken sandwiches. Would it really be too hard to include say a surf and turf sit-down, bbq, or with the great ethnic diviersity of this nation, say maybe an international buffet. Americans don't live on burgers, dogs, and chicken alone and it's a shame that is all we offer.

Ahh! The "fancy" American restaurante' in Epcot. Yep. It is really sad! Everytime we walk by it, seeing it as we always do the "Countries", we always sigh. I agree that us Americans do eat better than that, ok so most Americans do anyways. I think Bbq or something a bit less "greasy" should be served! :goodvibes

Well, there is the funnel cake stand. And the turkey legs.

My family and I have pondered on choices for a sit down restaurant at the American pavilion. And decided that there are just too many choices. Most of the cuisines are found elsewhere. New England clam bake type - Cape May Buffet. New Orleans - Boatwright's. California Grill. Mickey has his own BBQ at Fort Wilderness. Liberty Tree Tavern.

I just figure we gave the world McDonald's, Burger King, and Subway. What more can we provide?
