Just wondering how the "toy search" is going...

for people. I know a couple of people were looking for the Fur Real Pets..... I think others were looking for Zip Zap Racers... and who knows what else! How's it going??

Didn't need either of those and Santa's big box from Amazon arrived Thursday with all the goodies for under the tree!!! We're ready!!!

My daughters best friend just got a 'My twin doll' for her birthday. The doll cost $180. When I saw it all I could think was what a rip off. It is supposedly hand crafted to look exactly like the photos you send in of your little girl. They got the hair color and length wrong and she looks nothing like her friend. It's also too large to fit into any of the 18" doll clothes they have readily available in the stores. You are forced to buy theirs or make your own.

Of course my daughter wants one but she isn't getting it!

She's getting a few things on her list but I'm buying some surprises too.

I've been able to find whatever I've wanted online, mostly at Kaybee toy store.

My daughter got the American girl doll that they make with the hair, eye and skin coloring you request. It is well-made, turned out really cute, and the regular 18 inch doll clothes fit. the facial features are the same as the other American Girl dolls, so it doesn't look like my DD, but the coloring is right.
