Just won tickets for Disney Junior's Summer Party!

Hi all
I entered into this comp on disneys website and just got an email to say id won a ticket which entitles 4 people to attend the summer party in Dublins store. I'll receive an e ticket with more details soon. Not telling DD til we arrive so it'll be a little surprise before she goes back to school! Rang best friend so she and her sis are coming too!

Ah wow! Congrats! I still haven't made it to the Dublin store yet!

I'm glad a real Disney fan won it and not just somebody who chanced their arm entering the competition!

aw thats great congrats!! Ive been to the store it is sooo over priced! Thank god i hadnt the kids with me or i would have been broke. I picked up a few bits for them only because i was feeling guilty for leaving them at home all wkend!

Congratulations Kizzabel!! I would have entered if I'd known about it! Was it the Disney Store website you entered on or DLP? Must keep an eye out for future competitions.

Have to agree with daiseyirl though. The prices are outrageous here in Dublin. I brought my DD in to the Dublin store the day it opened and told her she could pick 2 items. She picked the large cuddly princess dolls which were 26 euro each!!! When I got home I checked on line for the UK price and it was 16 pounds sterling (about 18.50 euro)!! That's a whopper of a difference. In fairness though they are ripping off the other europeans just as much as when we were in DLP last November we took a day trip into Paris and of course visited the Disney Store on the Champs Elysees. The difference between the sterling and the euro prices was as bad there as it is here in Ireland. Only difference is that in Paris they left the sterling tags on the items whereas here in Ireland they take them off as we are well aware that many stores from the UK are ripping us off.

I now go on-line and order my stuff from the Disney Store UK. Delivery charge is 7.95 sterling so if you are ordering several items (like you might do at Christmas) you are saving lots of money. I know if everyone does this the store in Dublin will close but I refuse to be ripped off any longer!!

OK, rant over!! Sorry kizzabel, didn't mean to hijack your post. Congratulations again!! Hope you have a brilliant time and do tell us all about it afterwards. As Laura said it's great when a true Disney fan wins these things!
