Just when I said we weren't going... SWW

We have done SWW the last two years, and had the best time.

This year, we no longer have our APs, and I was pretty ok with letting the event pass. Haven't read much about it, haven't looked into any new things they are doing this year. We were in the clear.

DH got home from the store last night and he had run into some friends of ours (our boys were in kindergarten together last year and they are now overlap a bit in karate). Well, they invited us to join them next weekend!

At first, I was a hard no because tickets are pricey, but then I looked and the Florida Resident 3-day for $139 offer is still going on... and that makes it tough to pass up. Only hiccup is that my adult nephew is going to be in town, but we can figure that out.

Ack! Would you push to go? I know we probably won't get any decent ADRs or FP+, which is fine. I know the kids would love it. I'm trying to play it cool, but the Star Wars lover in me is getting excited.

I'm still trying to figure out why you ditched the passes? We are new obviously but we have no restrictions block out days and don't pay for parking. If you renew, you don't have to pay the down payment again, and assuming you are FLR, its like the cost of a dinner for the entire month? And just when yoi think yoi are done, it calls to you again and then you have to buy real tix, such a pain...

Our schedules changed where we just aren't able to make it there often enough to make the passes worth it for us. If something pops up, we are usually able to take advantage of the 3Day Resident discount, and that's been fine. Had this not come up around SWW, I wouldn't be considering going at all this summer.
