Just watched Flash Dance again last night!

I don't know how it happened that DH didn't know that Flash Dance is one of my all-time favorite movies , but as soon as he found out, he ordered it on NetFlix.

Well, I thought I would have outgrown it by now, but it was still magical! I explained to DH that Flash Dance was to me in the 80s what Mamma Mia is to me in the 2000s....iconic of an era.

So does anybody else still love Flash Dance, or did you love it in the 80s??

Love it...I have very few DVD's because I only want ones I can watch repeatedly and never tire of and Flashdance is part of my collection

I love Flashdance! I danced for 16 years (quit after attending a performing arts high school, where I fell for science, lol) and I would watch that movie over and over again in the 90's.

I was just thinking about Flash Dance the other day because I watched Coyote Ugly on cable...it reminded me of Flash Dance a little.

I that movie..the music and the dancing especially. I wanted to be a dancer when I grew up, but a combination of finances and being a huge klutz kept me from going to ballet school.

I took a jazz/modern/ballet/aerobics class in HS to get out of PE and I also took music theatre/dance workshop classes in community college. I still love to dance, even though I don't think I'm a very good dancer.
