dealing with WDW websites and phone calls. Tried to order something on line, would not go through. After about 30 min. called. First call after 5 min on hold they hung up. Finally got through and placed my order, would not work on line. Then called to pay off my trip. Once again, web site was down. Called, and once again they cut me off, just as I was going to get to talk to a real person. Went back on line, and if finally went through. Come on Disney, you can do better than this. It is a good thing I love Disney, cause I would not put up with this with most sites. I am writing a letter to Disney.

That's awful. You are way more patient than me. Glad you got through to someone to place your order and then pay off your trip.

I'd have given up and not tried again until later in the day.

Congrats on being Paid in Full. :thumbsup2

Sorry that happened to you.....I hear ya on the website....I've had many issues....hopefully they can hire better people to maintain it.

I keep hoping that one day they will get their websites figured out. With all of the money they have you think that they would make this a priority.

It isn't even about all the money they have, to me it's about all the money they are losing. Most people aren't as patient or determined as Connie. If I try to order on line and it doesn't work, go through, whatever, I never call and if I did, I sure wouldn't call back if I got disconnected. If I can't order online in a relatively fair amount of time I just don't order.

I just called a couple of times to make a room only reservation and all I got was, "Your call could not be completed, please try again later". I triple checked that I was calling the right number.

Now that's a perfect example of where having Dreams Unlimited handle your room ressies makes so much sense!! :thumbsup2

I think if Disney tried to make their websites more user friendly and not fill it with superfluous animation and sounds, it'd be much better.

I don't need to see Mickey swimming back and forth when shopping for a cruise. I don't need to see Tinker Bell fly when I am making a dining reservation. The Disney Store website is another mess.

I've always wondered if part of the problem is that everything is all attached to the main disney . com site. From there you can book travel, go to the Disney Store pages, play games, watch movie trailers, ect... ect... Do you think things would work better if travel was it's own seperate site, Disney Store seperate site, ect...
