Just wanted to share my joy a bit!!!

We'll be CC debt free as of FRIDAY!!!

I've been throwing 1/2 of our extra money after each paycheck/bills cycle at the CC, the other 1/2 has been going into savings. We didn't want to be penny foolish, and pound short....the savings came in handy when all of the sudden, for the first time in our adult lives, we OWED Uncle Sam a nice little chunk of change....but it's soooo nice to be able to say that we don't owe any CC debt....now, to just pay off those darn student loans!! Hopefully, we can get DH's paid off shortly using the same method.....we only have one car payment right now, but at some point, that will be two....DH's car has over 100,000 miles on it, and we have no idea how much longer it will realistically last!!

Thats great... I can't wait for that day for me... Which may be happening in May... I'm getting a $1000 bonus at the end of the month and that will pay off 4 bills completely... Enjoy it and start saving for the next disney trip!

I know EXACTLY how you feel. Last Friday, 3/5 we paid our last $5,500 to our cc and paid our last truck payment!!! An incredible weight has been lifted off of our shoulders!!! My husband and myself went out to dinner to celebrate, but we used a restaurant.com certificate that I purchased awhile back for $2. So meal and tip only cost $35. Time to save!!!! To make it even better, the company I work for and the union agreed on a contract. We had been working without one for 11 months and were threatening to go on strike.
