Just wanted to say

I LOVE this site!! I belong to another board that I check out daily like this one but it is not a disney site. It is actually for military wives as I was one for many years. I love that site as I have many friends there but from both that site and a baby board I used to belong to I have seen so much ugliness with trolls or drama etc.

I still like to go to my other board to keep up with my friends but I have to say sometimes it really depresses me they way some people can act.

I know that on the rare occasion there is a negative nancy on here too but for the most part this place is so positive and everyone is usually in the same boat as me, a disneyaholic and just excited to be planning their next trip.

One thing I can say I love about Disney is that it ALWAYS brings a smile to my face and I love all things Disney. We go to Disney on Ice and to the movies in the theater and we buy the movies on dvd. My kids have tons of Disney toys and clothes and we go to the Disney Store. It is just one thing that makes all the ugly things in life go away and I know a lot of people probably think I am crazy for being so obsessed but it really makes me happy.

Anyway just wanted to share that this place is great and I LOVE coming here and it always cheers me up.

I couldn't agree more, I feel exactly the same. From the moment I walk through those gates, my reality (bills, Dr. appts, teething!) disappears and I just feel like all is right with the world. We watch Disney movies all the time, our DL cd's are always playing in the car, planning a trip is addictive (I especially like taking first timers and getting them hooked, evil I know!)

Well all I can say is that you need to break your record in 2007 so you better fit one more trip in there!!!

LOL I know what you mean. Although I think that is about all we can do this year and yet I have people dogging me cuz we are going THAT many times but as I explained to them if you live in CA only a few hours away and have AP's it is SO easy to just go.

Plus if you count my trip in Nov and Dec and go from Dec to Dec then I am actually taking more than 4

We actually don't usually go THAT many times but this year is special because we want to go to the halloween treat and I want to go with just DH for the CP in Dec otherwise we wouldn't be going quite that much this year.

And Next year we will probably only go once since we will be saving for DW in Nov of 08.

But anyway glad I am not alone in my feelings. LOVE this place!!!

I agree that this board is always fun and relaxing!

We are Disneyholics, too (in case there is any doubt ), and I love coming on here and reliving the past trips or looking forward to future trips.

I think I'm like most people on here---the folks in my "real life" don't get it! That's why this place is so important to me.

Yes nobody here gets it either except my one friend that I travel with who I converted into an AP in 2005 and she never looked back!! But (sniff, sniff) she is leaving me and moving to Spokane in two weeks so my only IRL Disney travel buddy will be gone and too far to make more than one trip a year as they are taking a huge paycut~!! I am sad!!

Yes I totally agree with you about this site being upbeat and I too am so glad I found it because everyone I know laughs at me whenever I tell them I'm going to Disneyland again and I always thought I was alone until I found this site. I live in Canada so I can't get away to Disneyland very often, but for some reason ppl out here think that going three times in five years is alot, but compared to some ppl on this site I'm just a newbie
Anyway, I also thought that after my last trip I wouldn't need to check out this forum anymore because I wasn't planning a trip but it turns out answering ppls questions are just as fun as asking them!

Exactly guys. That is why I love this place because A) you guys are all like me and B) it is just a fun upbeat place to come. I always love hearing people's stories and seeing their pics or just reliving their trips or my own.

Plus if I have another trip to plan even if it is a year away it gives me something to look forward to and to chat about.

I agree that people in the real world just don't get it.

They all laugh at me and make fun but hey there is NOTHING out there quite like the Disney experience. No Six Flags or any other park is even the same.

In fact when I DO go to those places it just makes me miss the magic of Disney all the more.

It is truly a magical place that when you step inside those gates you are in a whole other world.

I'm so glad this place is here and that I have fellow addicts like me!!

I absolutely love visiting the DIS. Everyone here is sooooo GREAT!

Dh gets it but he worked at WDW the same time I did so he should but nobody else does. My family thinks I'm crazy. I've completely brainwashed my kids to be Disneyminded. We listen to Disney, Watch Disney, play Disney games and sleep in Disney pj's and sheets!
