Hello, all!
Like many, I have been lurking for months and found so many great discussions and answers on this board. It has helped me plan my first trip to Disney World with my family, which I booked about a year ago. It will be myself, my DH (30), DD (4) and DS (almost 3) and a little one in my belly (25 weeks pregnant), along with my in-laws, who have been so kind and helpful to us in these years with our young babies.
When I was little, I wanted so badly to go to Disney World, and it was always very hard to listen to friends from school come back from trips and show me photographs and autograph books. It was never financially in the cards for my family, and I vowed to myself when I had a family of my own, I would do whatever it took to get them there, and Sunday I will get to see their faces & take pictures of them & get their autograph books signed, all on my tab.
I feel like this trip has been a very long time coming, and I am so, so grateful to all of you for sharing your insights into the World. I can feel in my bones that I'll be a "regular" after this trip, so I felt it was time to go ahead and sign up and begin participating more.
Mostly, thank you so much for loving Disney World the way you do, to keep the anticipation alive for me. Thank you for giving me a safe place to be just as excited (if not more so) than my children, and the chance to live out a childhood dream that is almost 30 years in the making. I cannot wait to share the experience with you all.
