I don't think anyone will be overly shocked by this, but, I just heard from my in-laws who are staying at their vacation home 1 mile from WDW. FIL told me last night that the past week has been HOTTER than they have ever experienced. They have owned property for 10 years in the Kissimmee area and had been frequent travelers before that. He said they have not been out either afternoon. They will run errands/do yardwork in the am, stay in, then go out later in the evening. BTW, they are not elderly and are in very good health, except for MIL's HBP.
Friends I'm not sure if I posted this on the right board, but I just wanted to give everyone a heads up if you're going soon. Be prepared, drink lots of water, be flexible with your schedule, don't over do it, keep an eye on small children, wear lots of sunscreen etc. Still have fun, though!
