We just tried to book Le Cellier at 90 days (Christmas Day) and from 11:30-7:30 there was no availability! I don't understand how every table can be booked 30 minuutes after the started taking ADR's!

I will be happy when the 180 days starts..... free dining is making it impossible to get into the better restaurants!

IMO

Bill:santa:

Wouldn't have the people that stay onsite have had 10 days to book it already?

to DVC? I tried to book my ADR's last week through DVC and was told that I had to wait until it was 90 days out...

Hi, my ADR window opened on 9/18 , I'm staying 12/17-12/28. I was able to get Le Cellier at 4:00 on Christmas Day. Just wanted you to know people have been able to book for awhile now for Christmas, depending on their arrival date. Sorry you couldn't get in, but keep trying in case someone cancels.

Keep trying...especially when it gets to be 45 days out & less. On both our trips this year, we saw all kinds of restaurant availability return on previously booked restaurants once we got within the balance-due time frame. A lot of people book "just in case" they can go, but then can't get the time off, or don't have enough in the budget, etc. So they cancel before they're 45 day pay-off date so they can get their deposit back. That frees up a good number of reservations.

But, if you have a large party size (just guessing, based on the number of character icons in your signature) you may just be out of luck on Le Cellier. It's a very small restaurant to begin with...and they know they can fill every table, easily, so they will limit how many large-party tables they will reserve (restaurants know that smaller party size tables turn over faster, so two 4-tops with turnover faster than one 8-top for example.)

I was online at 3am this morning and able to get Le Cellier for lunch (which is what I requested) at 1:35. I was very surprised and happy to get it!

I agree that if you have a large party size that may be your issue. I also agree that I preferred 180 days!

Keep trying & good luck!

Keep on trying, I was online at 3AM to get my ADR's done on my 90+10 day mark I wanted Le Cellier for dinnertime but only got lunch, 2 weeks later I found a dinner reservation so I grabbed it and cancelled my lunch reservation. Cancellations and changes happen all the time, just gotta be lucky I guess.

When I booked Le Cellier for our last trip the only time I could get was at noon (Sat Aug 29). No matter, we made it work. But when we got to the restaurant it never got more than half full. We lwft at 1pm and it was still only half full. Seriously, DH was wondering what the heck I was talking about - how hard it was to get an ADR, how popular the place was?? He thought I was out of the loop~
Go figure!:confused3
