Just tried The Wave!

Ooh fab! We are booked here in December. I shall look forward to mimosas with my breakfast on my first morning at WDW!

We tried the Wave for the first time last year and we loved it - we ate there twice. We love that you can get reservations the same day. We are going there again this August. We are going to try the breakfast for the first time.

Ok but that's for a cost of $16. Not included in the buffet.

Oh...Okay...so now I feel like the way she was talking was that one was included with the original price, but now it looks as if Disney has decided to put a price on it and make it all-you-can drink!

That's what I get from it. And that means we won't be buying them. I won't even get bottomless mimosa at a local place for $8. :)

My cousin and I can run to the store and buy stuff for our own mimosas for cheaper than $32 combined. (And we will) :)

The Wave caught my eye for my last trip but didn't end up making the cut ultimately. Might have to give it a go on my next trip to WDW!

anyone know how much Just the Breakfast Buffet is? (not adding the mimosas) thanks

We just tried The Wave for the first time! Wow! We should have done this a long time ago! It was super yummy!

1) I agree.
2) In fact, we are going there to celebrate
. . . wife's 5-yr cancer survivor anniversary
. . . my neighbor's 70th birthday
. . . my neighbor's wife retirement
3) One big dinner for several combined celebrations.
4) And YOU KNOW, Scupper would not pick a mediocre eatery at WDW.

I spy with my little eye a Virgin Bloody Mary on that receipt.

Blasphemy!
You do. And you would not want me drunk. :tongue:I was actually disappointed with it. The regular Bloody Mary was described as spicy and even had bacon in it. The one I got was nothing like that. Tasty, but no wow.

Nice to "see" you again, Rusty. :)

Congratulations to your wife and best wishes to her. Hope you're doing well now too.

Congrats on all of the above! Have a great time!

I can run to the store and buy a 6 oz filet and sides for less than the $50 or so they charge at a signature too but that doesn't mean I'm going to be doing that on vacation ;)

Glad to see this review. I have a breakfast reservation in October. I am debating doing dinner there also since I am staying at BLT.

I may have to give it a try on one night I am having trouble deciding and not able to get a Cali Grill ressie.

The Wave is kinda underrated, IMO. It's quality food and good service. Nothing too fancy or heavily themed, but it's a reliably good meal. A nice to way to check out the Contemporary if you don't want to spend the time/money at California Grill or go nuts with the kids at Chef Mickey's.
I agree! I LOVE dinner at the Wave ....one of my fave spots to eat. Actually I enjoy it more than Cali Grill. Its definitely a hidden gem.

Look what was in the news feed today!

That settles it! I am headed back!
Im so excited to try out the breakfast this upcoming trip! Cant wait to try the mimosa. I honestly cant believe how cheap breakfast is at The Wave.

You should try dinner at the wave too. The food is incredible, the price is right, and the atmosphere and service are great. Cant go wrong with this place.
