just transfered res to DU & have question

I just requested a transfer of our existing resrvation held thru disney to DU today. couple of questions for those who have dealt with DU.

1. Do they automatically shop your reservation to see if they can do better?

2. Are there any credits I can request? This is our second cruise on dis and we have a castawy#

3. Our confirmed second dining and cabin # in original reservation isn't at risk for this transfer right?

Hi Barnsquad! Yes, Dreams will be sure you have the best possible pricing from DCL for your cruise, plus you will get the Dreams REBATE applied to your final balance. The only credits you might be eligible for would be the Disney Club credit, if you are DC members. You can't get a first-time cruiser credit and unless you booked your cruise while onboard the ship you won't get the Castaway Club credit. And yes, everything will transfer EXACTLY as you have it.

I did get the $100 rebate. Is Disney club the same as castaway club? because Cathy confirmed because we booked while on board last year we will be getting a $200 on board credit through castaway club.

No, the Disney Club is separate but you can't get that with the Castaway Club credit anyway. The CC credit is much better ($200 vs. $50 for Disney Club) so you got the best possible deal. Enjoy your cruise!
