We are staying at DGC in Oct and I really want to know answers to the following so I make the best of our trip:

1. Can you request bunk beds in advance (I know it's not guaranteed but can you let them know your preference)?
2. Can you request a fridge for your room in advance, or do you wait until check in?
3. Can you request an early check in, and how early is that?
4. Does the time of your arrival have anything to do with what room you can get (earlier the better)?

THANKS! I am so excited but also nervous about trying to get everything we want.:yay:

Yes, you can request bunk beds in advance, I always do, and I have been fortunate each time to get them. You don't have to worry about requesting a fridge anymore, they now have them in each room without the silly stuff blocking it all up, they are all empty now. You can check in pretty much any time you want. I've checked in in the morning at times, but I couldn't get my room until after 3. I believe that your arrival time does have something to do with the room you get. I normally arrive early and get nice rooms. However, one time I couldn't get there until after 8 P.M. and I got the room next to the elevator (very noisy), and there was nothing else available.

My BIL and SIL requested the bunks in advanced and got them. This was in July too. Although there is always that chance that you won't.

Every room comes with a fridge, so no worries about that.

We always found checking in early helped. A few times we still couldn't get in to the room, but it still may have helped get what we requested. But most of the time we've been lucky. In June at the DLH our room was even ready at like 9 am!
