Just Switched to POLY! Whoo-Hoo!

WE've now switched a million times for this little quickie we're taking at Memorial Day before I have to have some major surgery!

It was 2 rooms at Pop, then Yacht Club, then I called last night to see if anything else had opened and they had Poly GV for about $20 thanYacht Club. we LOVE being on the monorail and are so excited about going back to the Poly again. MK is our major park, so this is great news! Can't wait to get into one of those hammocks with a cool drink!!!!

Yep! We love the monorail resorts since our favorite park is MK. Also we lvoe watching Wishes from the beach and just the whole atmostphere. WE don't spend much time at the pools, so SAB was never a huge factor for us. MGM's our least favorite park, so that convenience isn't too important either. TTC monorail to EPCOT, our 2nd favorite park, is right at Poly!

We really love the chance to be on a monrail resort and the big rooms! The kids are over the moon with excitement...me too! It's been out of our price range since our last trip (to Poly) 3 years ago!

I'm excited for you! I love Poly. We stayed there for the first time in February and absolutely loved it. We did not request a particular longhouse, so we weren't setting ourselves up for any disappointment. We wound up in Fiji with a lovely view of the marina.

Enjoy your visit and rest assured that I'm both happy for you and VERY jealous.

I'm excited for you. I think the Poly is great! I am staying there for the 1st time in a few weeks and can't wait. I visit this resort all the time when at WDW. We go to WDW once or twice a year and everytime we visit I say we are going to stay at the Poly and this year is the year!

You are going to have such a fabulous time!!! Ah . . . I'm daydreaming now about our trip last month. You mentioned not spend much time at the pool, and I don't know your childrens' ages, but my DD7 and DS7 (+ DH and I) loved the Poly's volcano pool. Oh, watching Wishes and EWP, taking the monorails, all those beautiful flowers, Tikis, . . . Oops, daydreaming again.

As far as longhouses, we were concierge, so that means Hawaii building. I hear Tahiti is nice. Tikiman's site is very helpful:

Yay! Thanks for all the good wishes! I'm really excited! Can't wait. I'm a teacher (3rd grade) and we leave after the last day of school ( a half day) so this is a doubly exciting countdown!!

I'll let you know how the surgery goes.. it's June 7th. Reconstruction after breast cancer last year.

I'm excited for you! And a little jealous . . . the Poly is my FAVORITE resort but DH really wanted to try YC so we're going with that this trip. I agree that nothing says Disney magic like the MK resort area! MK is my favorite too! All I want to do is to be able to see the castle 24-7 - is that really too much to ask?
