Just switched to AKL, is it worth trying to squeeze in Boma for breakfast?

Was there years ago for dinner and hated it, but was willing to give it another shot for breakfast since we will be staying there. We are on the deluxe dining plan and I'm having a hard time fitting it in. Is it worth it or should I just stick with what I have? If I do, it will replace Lunch at Yak and Yeti or Liberty Tree Tavern. What do you think?

AKV is our home resort, and we absolutely love Boma for breakfast and dinner. I think it's one of the 2 best breakfasts on property. I've never been to Y&Y, but we do enjoy LTT. But I would certainly fit Boma in!

Love Boma breakfast!! It has a great combination of regular bfast food and more unusual foods. It was absolutely fantastic! We have been for dinner as well and dinner is definitely more adventurous than bfast. It was our favorite bfast at WDW. I have never been to Yak and Yeti, but I would change LTT to Boma. Don't forget to get the FRUNCH!

Yes, breakfast is great, try the special breakfast juice.

I would definitely give it another chance-if only for the Jambo juice:lovestruc. There is a nice variety of foods to choose from- so even if you're not adventurous about new foods-you can still get all the regular breakfast stuff you're used too:)

I would skip LTT for Boma in a heartbeat

mmmmm frunch!!

Boma by far is the best breakfast on Disney property. It you are aready at AKL, definitely go for it, so goood! I would drop one of your lunch adr. When we eat there we too full for lunch and just grab a snack and do early dinner.

Boma by far is the best breakfast on Disney property.

It is the best breakfast BUFFET on property. Not the best breakfast. The Grand Floridian Cafe and Kona Cafe are both better for TS breakfast. :thumbsup2

It is a good breakfast and nice to have some unusual options to add to the standard. I would not give up Yak & Yeti for it but I would pass on LTT for it. And especially since you are staying there and not using up park time on transportation.

I would say all depends on whether or not you are a Breakfast person. For me Breakfast is my favorite meal to eat out especially a Great Breakfast Buffet like Boma's.
I loved Boma's so much during my last stay at AKL it is one of the reasons I chose to stay there again and I have a Breakfast ressie for every day except one and one dinner ressie for Boma's
I say make time for Bomas :thumbsup2

Boma is definitely worth it. I like it for breakfast and dinner both. Breakfast is really good. I love the scrambled eggs with goat cheese. And the grilled tomatoes. And the French toast. I love it all!

Breakfast at Boma is the best at WDW in our eyes. Like you we were not fan's of dinner, we will not be rushing back for dinner, but breakfast is just delicious! I would drop LTT if I had to drop one, we also love Yak & Yeti so we wouldn't miss a meal there when visiting WDW.

Boma breakfast is worth it. Food is really yummy. We really did not like the dinner at Boma but we love breakfast at Boma. Give it a try since you are staying at AKL. When we stayed there we did not have any ADR's for Boma but went downstairs and they were always able to sit us.

I generally dislike buffets and typically avoid them, but Boma serves as a worthy exception. I agree with the poster who wrote it offers the best breakfast on Disney property. It boasts a wonderful balance between standard American breakfast fare and ethnic selections. I down at least a glass or two of Frunch during each meal there, even during dinner.

If you can fit Boma in your tight schedule, I definitely recommend it.
