Did I do a bad thing? We stayed at the Dolphin a couple of years ago and really liked it. We've never stayed at the Swan. Since it's been renovated, I thought we would try somewhere new and stay at the Swan. However, we have a family of 5 and I'm thinking bigger is better for our family. I think I'd rather be closer to Tubbi's, the laundry facilities, and the Grotto pool. I also wouldn't mind trying to get upgraded to a Jr. suite somehow at the Dolphin. ;) I did request a renovated room on my reservations. Do you think I'll regret the switch? Any advice or encouragement is much appreciated. :)

We just returned from a 10night stay at the Dolphin on September 8th and we had a great trip. We were not in a "new" room and we thought the room was in fine shape. We choose the Dolphin over the Swan for the reasons you listed also Tubbi's, the pool and my husband did laundry on this trip. I think they are only up to the 5th and 6th floors with the renovations. We like the higher level rooms so we did not ask for a renovated room.

Tiffany -

Thanks for posting - I too am staying at the Dolphin in October - have never stayed there before but you gotta love that AP rate!!!

I am sooo glad you enjoyed staying there. I too, requested a recently renovated room, but at least now I know if I don't get one, the rooms are still in good shape!!!

I don't think you will regret staying at the Dolphin. We loved it, for the reasons already stated. The Jr. Suite sounds awesome. Good luck!

Thanks for the words of encouragement! I don't know why I'm worried, I know they'll take good care of us at the Dolphin - they've been so nice everytime I've called to ask questions.
