Thank you so much, everyone! It feels terrific to have all the members of my little flock at home tonight.
We managed a dinner of pancakes and birthday cake (eek...the scale!), did our traditional "measuring against the door frame," and have moved the friends party to tomorrow after school. I think we are all so drained that we feel like we're moving in molasses (although just maybe it is Christy's maple syrup

), but a good night's sleep should help all of us.
Got two calls on my cell while at the hospital today - one of the private schools (the longshot one) we applied to last week for DS rejected him right outta the box. (Well, OK, then!) But, then an hour later, another one of the schools we applied to called to say he *may* be a good fit there and we will work on scheduling a tour, etc. to learn more about each other before the end of this school year.
Thanks for giving us the energy to keep breathing, keep moving, and to keep our spirits up. You guys are the best!
