Ok - now I'm really excited about our VR (for our 20th anniversary) next year! Just spoke to our coordinator - Tanis Armstrong. She seems really nice. Anyone have her?

We've got the date & time we wanted - April 13, 2011 at Noon
The place we wanted - The Wedding Pavilion
The Reverend we wanted - Rev. Jack Day
Now we just have to plan the rest! But I need to plan slowly otherwise I'll want April to be here instantly!

I have Tanis and so far so good. We had a great planning session and she has really answered all of my questions via email rapidly. She normally gets back to you with whatever you need. Since we are still in the planning stages maybe a bride that is all through her wedding will come along and give you more details...oh btw congrats

oh the one thing I can say is (and maybe this is the difference between wishes and escapes) there is a bride who is getting married (on the boards) in March and already has her BEO whereas our ceremony is before that and we still haven't recieved one. In addition, we don't expect to receive it until late October which is when Tanis said she would have it ready for us. So this would be literally six week later in receiving our first BEO than a wedding that is two weeks later than ours.

I had tanis for an escape wedding. She was great on the day of the wedding! Just make sure to keep after her if she does not return your emails....and don't expect your BEO to be on time...I didn't receive mine till after the due date.

But...again, she was really amazing on the day of my wedding~

congratz. and i believe all Disney wedding planners are great. Just make sure to have all your questions at the ready.

Rose pedals are the best choice for throwing implements.

I also have Tanis and so far she has been really great at getting back to me. Sometimes I have to ask a few times for something but she always comes through with a great response and gets things done quickly.
About the BEO, our wedding is this December and we still have not seen a BEO.

Thanks everyone for the comments. Tanis seemed very nice on the phone and said that October is a very busy time for Disney weddings and "warned" me that she might not be readily available during that month. She did email me the planning packet - so we are looking at that.

She also left the planning session to when it was convenient for me. What's a good time frame for a planning session (since we are having our VR in April 2011)?
