Just some friendly advice on Florida heat

Heat stroke is absolutely no joke. Drink before you are thirsty. The small neck towels you wet first help a lot along with wearing wicking type clothing along with a nice wide-brimmed light-colored hat.

When visiting in the summer heat, If possible, it’s a good idea to visit the parks in cooler hours (am & pm), taking a break in the heat of the day or at least enjoying indoor shows, etc. then.
 
Yes! On one visit I ended up in the celebrations hospital ER after an injury, and the waiting room was full to overflowing of kids with heat stroke. So many parents try to cram too much into a park day, and keep their kids out in the sun during the hottest hours.
