Ok, Be Our Guest counts as quick service on dining plan, right?

How long does breakfast take? (Just shifted FP for Pirates of Carribean to later time due to breakfast time).

What breakfast items would you recommend?

Also... if the reservation is for 15 min after early morning extra magic hours starts, do we/should we have early entry into MK?

Already going to use extra magic hours.

Lucky you!

BOG at breakfast is indeed on the Quick Service Dining Plan and actually is a great way to maximise your credits (breakfast is 24$ for each adult).

If you are among the first reservations, I would say 30-45 minutes is enough for the breakfast. We hade multiple reservations at 8:05-8:10 and we were always out of the restaurant before the park opens (and that's with two toddlers).

The open face sandwich is really a hit for our family. Make sure to save room for the pastries that they bring at your table (not that great but still good if you have a sweet tooth).

I'm sure you will not be able to get in the park earlier, but keep your eyes open for the breakfast line to enter MK, it might be faster.

With that being said, I would not go at BOG on a EMH day. The real deal at BOG is to hit a pre-park opening ADR so you can have breakfast and then already be in Fantasyland once the park opens. But that part really is my opinion : if you're happy with your ADR, then you'll have a great time!

If you are trying to eat quickly to get to EMH early, order your food in advance with the app. It will save you 10-20 min depending how busy BOG is. Yes you will have early entry into MK to make your reservation. Be mindful of transport to the park as well depending on time of your reservation. We did breakfast there and loved it. Within 10 min of ordering our food was at our table. We ordered at BOG at the kiosk and only did that so I could so more of the castle. Next time I will order in app to save time and just stroll over there for pics. What's nice is that they locate you in the restaurant with your magic band, that was cool. We ate in the west wing/enchanted rose room. I loved it. I agree with PP, on an EMH day there will already be guests in the park so while you will be in before non resort guests, you won't be among the few. Enjoy your meal!!

Can the app preorder be used with disney dining plan? I know it can't at Satuli Canteen.

-Yes
-30-60 minutes depending on how fast or slow you eat.
-Nothing. I am not a huge breakfast person and nothing is worth my money or dining credit for breakfast there. I enjoy lunch at BOG whether paying OOP or with dining credits.

We did a PPO breakfast last year and it was awesome getting in early and riding 7DMT before rope drop crowds hit. Easy to get in and a leisurely walk to BOG. Now that they've moved the opening show to the front of the castle, I want to warn you of the hot mess you'll be walking into if you're doing a PPO. There will be a ton of rope droppers waiting in that whole area. So after you officially enter the MK, go to the left of the castle to check in. That's where they scan your band and let breakfast and EMM people thru (they don't make it obvious). From there it will be a nice walk, but before that, not so much :upsidedow
Btw, you will still have to check in at BOG.

So, if the park opens @ 9am (8am Extra Magic Hours), and our reservation is at 8:15am, do we get early access, or do we have to wait with the crowds for rope-drop and hope to make it to the castle in time? [I heard people are asked to show up 15 min before reservations].

What time should we arrive?

This will be a Birthday breakfast if we go, so I want to let the birthday-person know about highlights if we choose to keep the reservation. (Not sure how they feel about waking up early on their BD).

You'd be let in with everyone else.

If there is an am EMH on your day, a PPO ressie is useless if you are using it to try and eat then ride 7DMT or beat the crowds. EMH will only restrict none Disney resort ppl from entering in the am. Don't confuse EMM (early morning magic) with EMH. The EMM thing is different.

I have FP+ for 7DMT on a different day during trip. Just wanted to know details. Thanks for filling me in.

We will have to decide whether BOG is worth missing out on EMH on our last day at Disney. (Maybe we'll be tired of the park-thing and want a break for one morning?).

I'd see if you can get a later ADR because I would not suggest giving up that valuable EMH.

Some ppl find EMH useful and bang out a lot of rides in the first couple of hours. However, not a good fit for my family, makes us feel crazed and rushed since you still have the rope droppers dropping EMH, lol. If you've never been to BOG, I think it's worth it at least once. Have a good trip.

At least we can cancel the ADR 24 hours before if we decide it's not worth it for us; maybe gauge how we feel about it a few days prior when we first see MK and see how others react to BOG @ park & hotel.

Just got 8:35am reservation on a 9:00am park open day... extra hours in evening.

Will that get me in the park before opening?

Yes, you should plan to arrive at the entrance to MK by 8am. There should be a bag security check lane open (if needed) and someone scanning magic bands/cards at the turnstyle. Sometimes the lane has a sign for ADR guests. Just be sure you arrive a little earlier than normal since you will need some time to walk back to fantasyland. Enjoy breakfast!!

Perfect. We had same resv time twice. As previously said, yes they'll let you into the park early. They'll also most likely let you in BOG early so check in as soon as possible. Preorder your meal and eating won't take long. You'll have time to ride 7DMT or line up to another ride. (7D will be only ride running early).

Get to the park about 7:30-7:45 go to the left where they let folks through with PPO ADRs. They will let in all PPO ADRs at about 7:45. Go up main Street, and hang a left towards Sleepy Hollow. Follow the trail behind the castle to Fantasyland to BOG. You'll check in again at BOG. Even with an 8:35 reservation, they will most likely let you walk right in. If you've pre-ordered, you should be done well before 9 am.
When we went in February, I had the poached eggs sandwich on the croissant with melted Brie and bacon. It was very tasty. I'd order it again, although, with the pastries, my mom and I could've split it. We were paying OOP.
