Just sent off our closing docs! What next?

Hello everyone!

We just sent off our closing documents! Hopefully the seller is also anxious and does so quickly as well.

What's next in the process? When would be a good estimate to use our points? We wanted to book a trip for late September (which I realize is a busy time for DVC) and don't particularly care where we stay. The next trip after this one will be at our new home
Is it highly unlikely to get something?

Congratulations!!!! When the title company receives the closing docs from the seller and any funds necessary from either party (or both) then they will be able to execute closing. After closing you should see your deed on the comptroller website within a couple days. About 10 days after you see the deed recorded on the Comptroller website, start calling Member Administration to get your member number. It took 12 days from deed recording for me to get my member number and book my first vacation with the points. Good Luck!
