Just sent in the paperwork!!!

I just sent the paperwork today! I've been looking at becoming a DVC member for 2 years and by the end of February will have taken 3 Disney vacations in the last year!!! I had second thoughts when the official paperwork came and was wavering about joining...then I found this forum! Thanks for all of the positive info! I can't wait to use my points!!!

Thanks everyone! I'm planning our next vacation, but can't decide what to do! The options are endless...Did you stay at your home resort the first visit, or branch out? I guess I shouldn't worry too much...I have until I'm in my seventies to see it all, and I'm only 28!!! Plenty of time....

I know you have an 11 month window to book for your home resort...and 7 months for other resorts...does that 7 month window include the Disney Cruise Line as well, and the other member getaways?

I know for the Disney Cruise line anyone can book 11 months out. It is not the best use of points since Disney gives you a value of around $7.5 per point. You can rent your points on the trade board for at least $10 per point.
