I just scored an Oga's reservation at 8:45pm on 1/9. I saw it available and grabbed it. Problem is that right now we are scheduled to be in MK that evening. We are trying to decide if it is worth the hassle to leave MK early that evening to head over to DHS for the reservation. The family is starting at Epcot that day. Then I will meet up with them when it is time to park hop to MK. So I am guessing we would have to leave around 7:15/7:30 to drive over to DHS.

We have never been to Oga's in all the times we have been at GE. In just looking at stuff online, it looks like it really not a dining experience but more of reservation to check out a Star Wars cantina and grab a couple of drinks. Obviously we have some time to decide on what to do. So checking for opinions if it is worth the experience.

No dining. They have snacks (extremely limited and arguably weird ones)

If you are a Star Wars fan it is great, but I don't know if it is great enough to leave MK and drive to HS. Non-fans would probably just find it some weird space bar.

Traveling Park-to-Park-to-Park for a cocktail seems like a bit too much work for my taste.....but if ya' add a Lightening Lane for Rise of Resistance to the day, maybe the experience starts making more sense.

It is a really fun lounge. amazing theme! Next to no food. The drinks are nearly all pre-mixed. Our favorite spot is sitting/standing at the bar. The bartenders as SO much fun to chat with. Just ask them for a Star Wars joke, and they will go on and on. Last trip, we actually stumped them with one, then heard them tell another group the same joke.

Keep in mind that you only get 40-50 minutes in there. Also, since you would be there after closing, they will rush you out of the park as soon as you leave Oga's. We were not allowed to stop for pictures or anything after our Savi's and Oga's experience when we left at 9:40 PM.

I would keep looking for a day & time that works better for your plans. You will be surprised how many last minute reservations open up.

A lot. We tried for 61 days straight, all day every day, to get Oga reservations. Popped up the week of our trip. Might have been the day before our HS day. You are absolutely correct.

as the newness wears off, I have been seeing more and more openings here.

It is a cool place, but once you have been there 1 or 2 times, there is no real reason to go back. I think you are seeing that many of the locals or frequent visitors have had their 1 or 2 visits and now that capacity is up fro grabs.

We have reservations for Oga’s and planned on going for after dinner drink. Do they have regular cocktails or just the ones on the menu.

Just the ones on the menu. They are (mostly) premixed drinks, wines, and beers. They do not have a selection of alcohols.

I've been there twice. The first time in June, we were seated at the bar in a corner. It was cool as a star wars fan, but figured it was a once a done. Being in the corner, we couldn't see the other side, nor could we see dj Rex.

We went in November and I scored another reservation for Ogas, the whole two months before the trip I was really debating cancelling but never did, very glad i didn't. This time we were at the standing high tops right in front of Rex. It was a lot more fun being in the middle, we could see everything going on in the bar, and listen to Rex. Also we weren't being rushed out, our waiter even offered us a third drink (we declined). So Ogas went from a lets not try hard to go again, to a yep make reservations.

Would I cancel my evening plans at another park , I'm not sure though I agree add in Rise of the Resistance and it could be fun. I definitely wouldn't add PH options to tickets just to do it.
