We are leaving in the morning for Pop century, but when my DD4 wakes up she is going to get a call from Ariel!

Heres what shes going to say:

Good morning!

It's me, Ariel.

Your mother told me that you have a very big day planned.

And that you're taking a trip!
That sounds like so much fun!

Flounder and I are going to go exploring in a far away part of the ocean. Maybe we'll find some new human things to bring back to my cave!

Well, have a terrific day! I better go. I don't want Flounder to leave without me.

Goodbye!

I hope she likes it!!! Im sure she will. I just thought this was so cool.

How does this work. How do you schedule one and is there a fee? I am surprising my DD6 with a trip to the world in December and I am looking for a way to "surprise" her. This might be just the right thing.

you go to disneyenchantedcalls.com and choose your character and theme. Its $2.49 for the call, but I think it will be worth it. When she was younger before her "princess phase" I had Dora call her and she talked about it for days, it was around the same price.

Oooh! Thanks for posting this site! I just ordered one for my DD2 for Saturday! We're leave for WDW that afternoon ...... :goodvibes

I'm curious, though... how will I know to let HER answer the phone? She's only 2! I I pick up is there a prompt? Or do I just sit on the phone at 9:30am exactly? :confused3

They give you 40 seconds from the time you answer to hit "1" and that starts the call, so you have time to hand it over to your DD.They should e-mail you with exact instructions. ;)

Your little girl is so cute I could just bite her!! :teeth: The enchanted call sounds like a great idea...

Do you think they have anything that will tell a very rambunctious 5 year old to behave or Mickey won't let him come to Disney World??? :lmao:

You know what worked for us last February, believe it or not? The old "I have Mickey's cell phone number and I'm not afraid to use it!!" I had a friend call DS up once pretending to be Buzz Lightyear after a particularly BAD day at school to talk to him (my DH calls me a manipulative beyotch, but WHATEVER WORKS) about how only good boys could come to the magic kingdom, etc. and that Buzz really wanted to see him again (we had Buzz Lightyear at his birthday party before that), etc...tell you what - he was walking the straight and narrow after that!! See? All he needed was a little inspiration!! ;) Just add this to the loooong list of things he'll be working out in therapy years from now!!!

I hear ya! We had Santa call one year (Grandpa disguised his voice) on a particularly "spirited" day! :rolleyes1 It worked only for a bit but it was pretty funny to me and dh. :teeth:

This sounds great! I might try it.
Though we have been doing something similar for years. A good friend would call our house sporaically during the year & tell my youngest brother she was Mrs. Claus & he would talk to her and he was always amazed at how she knew how did on his tests and if he didn't pick up his clothes. He was kept in line for years! But it was all in fun and he did get treats from her throughout the year also.
