Just popping in to introduce myself as a massive lurker for the past 24hours!!!! I think I have spent about 9 hours reading on here since about 3pm yesterday!!!! Have loved ClareUSA2010s blog and also the blog from MsShuttergirl!!

Always dreamed of doing the US.. at some point but am now seriously starting to think it might be doable for Sept/Oct next year maybe.. Am interested in doing WDW and New York and whatever else I can fit in with 4 weeks. ($$$ dependant - might need to take out a bit of a personal loan to partially subsidise... So happy that Legoland is opening in Florida this year because that was what was originally the beginning of the idea of a trip.. to satisfy a hard core lego fan in the house!!!

Anyway there will me myself (Melissa) DH, and DD10, DS1 8, DS2 6 (ages currently) and possibly DH's cousin (she is 22).

Thanks for the wealth of information so far!!! You guys are amazing!!

12months ago I was you, just daydreaming about a US adventure, researching to see if it was doable, and now we are eight weeks away from Florida, a Carribean Cruise and New York City!!!!
