Just saying Hi and a question

Hi everyone. My dh, dd 15, ds 13 and I will be taking our third Disney trip in December. Our last trip was in March 2005 and we thought we were pretty satisfied. Well it wasn't long before we started getting that itch to plan another trip. I think it had to do with wanting to see it all decked out for Christmas and the fact that we saw Expedition Everest being built. Plus there is a whole bunch of stuff we haven't done yet. We decided to do things differently this time and we went deluxe with a room at AKL instead of our usual CBR. I'm very excited about that!

Now here's my question. We booked a package through Disney and I noticed that we are supposed to get one entree at Planet Hollywood per reservation. Does that mean we get one entree to share amongst the four of us or do we each get one? They also mention a keepsake. Any idea what it is? Is it worth going to Planet Hollywood to get? We are on the dining plan (also excited about that) and I'm having a hard time narrowing down my restaurants. I want to try them all but there are others I want to try before Planet Hollywood.

with the planet hollywood voucher you get one entree per person and you have the option of getting your picture taken there or a keepsake mug. if you choose not to eat at planet hollywood you can go to the gift shop they have and buy something there with the voucher. this is what we were told. as for dining i have the meal plan and have picked out my favorite resturants from each park.

For the sit downs:
MK- Crystal Palace
Epcot-Alfredo's in Italy
AK-Rain Forest Cafe
MGM-50's prime time cafe


For counterservice(not too good at this, i do not eat Counterservice much):
MK- Its counterservice right on the corner of Main Street that serves hot dogs, I don't remember the name.
Epcot-I like the counter service place in Japan.
AK-Resturantasourus
MGM-Catalina Eddies, thats right on the way to Fantasmic.

Our Planet Hollywood voucher was for one entree for the group, I wonder if it has changed. We were just there in April....

Thank you for the welcome and the info about Planet Hollywood. If it is one entree for the group it hardly seems worth going. Perhaps we can each share a quarter of the turkey club. Thank you for the restaurant recommendations. I had wondered if the Italian restaurant at Epcot was good. Maybe we'll try that one.

Yes I do know the DIS is addicting. I've been reading and lurking since way back before our first trip in 2003. Planning is fun.
